Bette has appeared on the public radio series, Live from the Chazen; and travels to St. Lucia, West Indies, with the Good News Project where she is featured as a guest artist with the St. Lucia School of Music. Bette was a duo pianist with Dr. Lily Brissman for the Central Wisconsin School of Ballet performance of Camille Saint-Saens’ Carnival of the Animals. She has also served as guest lecturer and clinician at the Goshen College Piano Workshop and Academy in Goshon, Indiana. In addition to her position at WCM, Bette was the director of the Adult Choir at St. Michael’s Church and at the Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ from 1975 to 2016. Bette’s favorite composers are Chopin and Debussy. She enjoys teaching students of all ages, including adults.
