The Conservatory’s endowment and special funds were created to ensure that we can fulfill our mission — providing exceptional musical education opportunities for our community. An endowment designed to provide quality arts education through a comprehensive and flexible curriculum designed to meet the needs of all ages. The fund supports the school with the interest from this fund.
Through a gift through Caroline Mark estate, the endowment funds provide a permanent source of income for the needs of the WCM.

The purpose of the fund is to provide financial assistance scholarships to current students at the Wausau Conservatory of Music.

Given as a gift in their estate plans, the Egdahls developed this scholarship fund to give to individuals in financial need. It was their wish to have the Conservatory use community spirit and giving as guideposts to determine scholarship winners.
This fund was given through a bequest in a will. The Wausau Conservatory of Music Board of Directors established this fund to use for tuition assistance throughout the organization.
This scholarship is awarded to a college freshman who has undertaken vocal music lessons at the Conservatory and is enrolling as a vocal music or vocal theatre major.
Through a generous contribution from Jack and Susan Szmanda, a scholarship is awarded to a college student who has studied at the Conservatory and is a freshman majoring in vocal music or music theatre.
